To schedule online, all you have to do is fill out some details about what you need, who you are, pick a date/time and wait for a confirmation to arrive.
All of our cleaners are heavily vetted to ensure we only work with high integrity professionals. Our cleaners are required to have a clear criminal background check and be bondable. In addition, all of our cleaners are covered with general liability insurance. This makes for a safe and delightful experience for all of our clients.

One of the best things you can do is make sure there is as little clutter as
possible. The cleaners will need to have access to surfaces to clean and if
they are covered up by too much clutter, they may be inaccessible.
Communicate with your cleaner(s) when they arrive (if you are home) and
plan to make sure the cleaner has space to clean. Children, pets and other
adults in the way can really hinder a job from being done in the best way
possible. It can also be hazardous. Vacuum cords, cleaning products and
supplies will be in the area with the cleaner and to mitigate accidents from
happening it's best to give them space.
We require 24 notice for reschedule or cancellations. There will be a $50 charge for late cancellations (within 24 hours of your scheduled booking). If you cancel the day of your appointment, or if we cannot gain access to your home, you will be charged 100% of your appointment cost.
Yes. If you’d like a fresh set of sheets, please set out for the cleaners.
You will not be charged until after the service is provided and you are 100% happy with your clean.
We accept all major credit cards. Our system will automatically generate a
hold on funds paid via credit card the day before your booked services. This is merely a hold and no funds have been removed from your account until the charge is processed after your services have been completed.
Yes, we provide all cleaning supplies, products and equipment, unless there is a specific request for a certain service.
We are! Please let us know when booking if you have pets in your home by
clicking on the "Dogs" or "Cats" icon at check out. If your pet is unattended
when the cleaners are entering your home, please let us know if they are
prone to escaping or have them put away in a room.
We send 1 or 2 cleaners, depending on availability and your needs. If you're on a recurring schedule, we'll do our best to match you with the same person going forward.

- Weight: We have a 30 lb. weight limit for safety reasons. Moving smaller
items like dining chairs, small ottomans, etc. to clean under is perfectly ok. If you would like any heavier furniture or appliances cleaned under, you're welcome to move it and the cleaners will be happy to clean under upon
request.
- Height: There is a limit to a 2 foot or shorter step stool. Safety is of the
utmost importance to us.
- Mold: Some amount of pink/orange mildew is common in some homes.
Large amounts of mold in shower areas, on walls, etc. can affect air quality
and pose a health safety issue. The cleaners can't clean in rooms that are
heavily affected by mold.
- Tile & Grout Cleaning Disclaimer
- While our deep cleaning service includes detailed scrubbing of tile and grout, severe buildup or long-term staining may not be fully removable through standard cleaning methods. Grout is porous and, over time, discoloration can become permanent. In some cases, specialized floor and grout restoration services may be required for full restoration. Results may vary based on grout condition, age, and sealing history.

- Shower Glass & Hard Water Disclaimer
- Some shower doors and glass surfaces may have hard water (limescale) buildup caused by mineral deposits accumulating over time. While our deep cleaning includes thorough scrubbing of shower glass, long-term mineral buildup or etched glass may not be fully removable using standard cleaning methods.
- Severe hard water staining may require specialized treatments, additional labor, or referral to a glass restoration professional. Any work beyond standard deep cleaning will be discussed and approved prior to service. OC SmartClean is not responsible for pre-existing glass damage, etching, or discoloration caused by long-term mineral buildup.
